I wonder if it is any use in life to worry about small things (and maybe even big ones?). I mean, there are certain things that might happen and that won't be nice. But if they need to happen, they will if we worried or not. (Actually, sometimes i guess they might happen even faster..)
So if things happen anyway, the difference lies in our own attitude: do we enjoy the good things we have and the possibilities in life, or do we spend all this time with worrying?
Actually, i wonder if it is about what one believes in; if one is generally optimistic and seeing chances at every corner, or if one is afraid of new things, trying to keep the familiar as unchanged as possible?

Worrying keeps you aware of things that matter. When worrying doesn't matter is with the things that you can't affect - like the bus being late or being fired due to the company's bankrupt. But it takes some kind of a proper mindset in order to tune yourself in chilling mode, when things actually go wrong.
Actually sounds like something I was trying to say a couple of weeks ago. Guess most statements make sense either way.
Strangely, your message really cheered me up in the morning; thanks for that :)
I guess my statement was generic enough to match quite a lot of cases.
What I particularly had in mind was worrying about small things without too much impact, like breaking with a habit to see if things work differently as well.
I think with thoughts like 'if i try to do this, i might make a bad impression, so better i don't try it even though i kinda would like to.' people confine themselves very much and take away their freedom to explore and enjoy the possibilities life offers to them.
Of course on realizing a real, big problem one should not ignore it but get down to find a solution. But these are relatively rare compared to all the little things one can worry about.
